The time has come! One Exodus was established on January 2, 2007 by Overlord Runex and his faithful Highlords. One Exodus will strive to become one of the premier guilds in WoW. We welcome all who want to join as long as you adhere to One Exodus' principles of respect and integrity in gaming. Other than that, we're here to have fun and get some phat loots!
Guildies make sure you check out the guild rules and the forums for important information you all need to know. Guild initiates please post your main toon, who invited you and the date you joined the guild in the "Introduce Yourself forums." It's easy and it lets us get to know you better. If you do not, you will not be considered for a promotion...ever.
Raiding: Although we are not officially a raiding guild we are offering raiding opportunities. We have 2 designated raid leaders, Tivara and Arawyn. PST them in game and they'll let you know what you need to do to participate in our raids. Currently we are raiding Gruul's Lair.
UPDATE June 08: Ok, so our first attempt in Gruul's ended in a /fail. So what? I'm sure very few guilds get success on their first try (unless they're a super-hardcore-have-no-real life guild, which we are not). However, the officers of 1X are quite certain that if we continue and learn, we will find success. We do need a few things from you...
1) Be patient and don't get down on your fellow guildies. Nobody is "trying to fail" so chewing someone out if they make a mistake or are having troubles doesn't help the situation and officers won't tolerate it in the future.
2) Be on time and come prepared. That means have flasks, vent, bandages, potions etc...you may rely on the kindness of other guildies if you forget something, but do it too many times and you may not have a raid spot in the future.
3) Know your role and do your research. Help out the raid leader so she doesn't have to explain strategy a million times. Also, make sure you're getting the most out of your class...upgrade gear, take flasks etc...
4) LISTEN. Tivy does a good job of researching raids and strategies, so listen to her. It is appropriate, if you have done Gruul's successfully, to pst Tivy PRE-RAID with suggestions. I'm sure Tivy would appreciate knowing about successful strats. Other than, too many suggestions during the raid slows us down and contributes to confusion.
